So Sweet
It is SO SWEET to finally get to work with some of my new toys!
Materials:
Paper: Tim Holtz "Paper Stash: Lost & Found"
Paper Cut Cardstock
Sassafrass Lass (white frame)
Fancy Pants (grid)
Bling: ZVA Creative
Epoxy's: Epiphany Crafts
Chipboard: Crate Paper
Twine: The Twinery
Stickers: Crate Paper
Flower: PRIMA
Stamp: Unity
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Black Soot"
We have so many new things in the store it is hard to pick one item to work with. So I chose most of them! Epiphany Crafts has this cool gadget to make your own epoxy centers and a whole line of "buttons" to fill too. I thought the package of depression glass looking buttons was the cutest and had to have a set...plus the epoxy stickers too. You just put them in the fancy punch and then add the epoxy on top and you have created your very own custom embellishment! Of course, you know how I love my bling too. The new stuff we got in from ZVA Creative and Want2Scrap is just amazing!! I love just taking parts of the swirls to make a statement instead of the whole thing. Goes a lot further that way.

Page 2 from a while ago
Ok, so it took me a while to get to this page but it does go with a page I completed a few weeks ago. You can find that other page here if you want to see the other side and missed it......You won't see this one at the store either....we have plenty of running sports pages.....but I thought I would share the idea. Most of the goodies on the page are also retired or no longer available at PICTURE THIS.

Something different
After getting back from my vacation last week...yup, I was on vacation for a whole 10 days!!...did you miss me?......I had a LOT of catching up to do at the store. A WHOLE lotta stuff came in while I was gone and I had to see (BUY) it.
Materials:
Paper: GRAPHIC45: ABC Primer
Crate Paper
7Gypsies
Wooden Bingo Chip: Maya Road
Key: Buffet Bar
String: Creative Imaginations
Chipboard circle: GRAPHIC45
Ink: TIm Holtz Distress Ink "Frayed Burlap"
UTEE
The map paper that came in from 7Gypsies was calling my name on this trip to the store! I used my Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (UTEE) to make my map look a little more weathered and cracked. Then I added some other fun new embellishments we just got into the store.

Summer Job
A page for the senior book....
Materials:
Paper: MOXXIE, Karen Foster and Scenic Route
Stickers: MOXXIE, Crate Paper and Authentique
Spellbinders: Standard Circle
Brads: Lil Davis
Bling: Kaiser Craft
COPIC Markers: to make the bling yellow
Tickets: My Mind's Eye
Star: PAZZLES
This is a two page layout...page two will follow tomorrow morning. We got in this racing paper from MOXXIE a few weeks ago and I bought myself a sheet (or two).....it was the best paper for this layout subject. For those of you into racing...or with a vague idea of how drag racing works (watch "Pinks: All Out" and you'll understand).....you will recognize the "tree" in the upper left corner. For those of you who don't....the "tree" refers to the T shaped post in front of a set of racers ready to drag down the Quarter Mile. The "TREE" lights up to let the car (driver) know when to "go". I think I pulled off the "tree" effect pretty well.

Die-Namics Ticket die

Project
I found this letter at Target at the beginning of last week and thought this would make a great design element for our FAB 5 project display area. You will see this little "number" on our blogs when we get back to our regular FAB 5 schedule...get it?.....number....hehe
Materials:
Paper: Graphic45 and Paper Cut
Chipboard: Graphic45
Crown: Sizzix Alterations with a piece of chipboard cut out
Bling: Kaiser Craft
String
PAZZLES: the letters for FAB
Heart: Sizzix Alterations (packaging cut out)
What you probably can't see in this picture is the letters for FAB are cut out with the PAZZLES and then pop-dots are used on the top layer. This can only be appreciated in person...so stop by the store to check this project and ALL of the other fabulous projects the staff have been working on over the last few months. We are busy creating new projects with all the new items as they come in.

French Fry Box
Not a real french fry box...this is just what the die is called. I used the PAZZLES to convert a box file into a cuttable file and now we can cut them out in a pattern you choose.
I used the Rosette die to complete the front of this one and filled the container with grass. You could use candy in the tulle bag...but since this goes on display at the store...the grass works out better. I need to put a finishing touch on it...maybe a button or a name. These would make great party favors or place settings for a party.

Happy Birthday
A pretty birthday card for a friend of mine....HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNETTE!
I used the new HEARTFELT CREATIONS Spellbinders die for this one.....awesome die, but a bit of a chore to get the little "bits" out of the dies afterward....but SOOOO SO worth it! I used a piece of bling from a class I took a while back and the flower is also from a class. You can find the die (while they last) at the store...but the rest you have to come up with on your own.

One more to add to the book....
Materials:
Paper: Teresa Collins, Bo-Bunny, Karen Foster, Moxxie and WorldWin cardstock
Spellbinders: Circle and Inverted Circle

A lot of the stuff you see on this page is no longer available. but I am sharing the page for the idea....you can take the same concept and change the background pattern (which we may still have a couple sheets of this one) and then change the embellishments to suit your needs....soccer, basketball, football, whatever! Materials:
Paper: Graphic45, Worldwin cardstock and Paper Cut cardstock
Spellbinders: Tag Trio
Brad: Making Memories
Stamp:
Ribbon: May Arts
Cuttlebug folder: from the fruit stand set
popdots
I just love the fruit on this paper (and the back side of it is that pretty blue pattern). After cutting out some fruit and trying to arrange it on a card I came up with this one....you might see another card or two since I went a little cut happy with the scissors and pear paper! lol

Plastic?
More plastic from the Paper or Plastic class I did Tuesday night.
Materials:
Paper: Pink Paislee "Hometown Summer"
Twine: The Twinery
Brad: Making Memories
Ink: Tim Hotlz Distress Ink: "Spun Sugar" and "Shabby Shutters"
Spellbinders: Standard Circle
The plastic for this one is from plain old packaging from any scrapbook supplies....or whatever had a nice flat surface to cut away. Spellbinders and Cuttlebug are my favorites to save. Just cut the flat parts out and stack them in your "when I have time pile"...LOL...really, they don't take up that much room that way...hehehe

Friendship and Happiness
Bet you thought I had forgotten to post today? Well, I did sleep in this morning....and it was really nice! And to wake up to this gorgeous day....well, all the better in my book. I think tonight is going to be a good "sit around the fire" night with S'mores.
Materials:
Paper: Jillibean Soup
Cardstock: Paper Cut and WorldWin
Brad: ?
Ribbon: American Crafts
Stamp: JUST RITE
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Mustard Seed" and "Barn Door"
Spellbinders: Standard Circle, Circle Scallop, Foliage (twig) and Sunflower 2 (for the leaf)
Sizzix Alterations Die: Tattered Flowers
This card is from my class last night...So the question is....what is the flower made from? A plastic grocery bag from Festival foods. Any bag would work, but the bright yellow of Festival's bag was what made me think of playing with it. What else can a person put through their die cutting machine? Wood: yes! (thin balsa type...not a 2x4 ...lol) Plastic from packaging: yes! Paper and plastic bags: of course! Chipboard is awesome too....like the kind you get from cereal boxes.....but only use that for card making, anything that goes in your scrapbook should be as acid free as possible. now, how did I get the ends to curl up? Well, you should have taken my class....hehee. Stop by the store I will share the secret.

Merry Christmas
Pennant fun....for Christmas!
Materials
Paper: Graphic45 Le Cirque (green)
We R Memory Keepers (Maple Grove collection)
Bazzill Cardstock
CANDi: Holly Berries
DYMO
Spellbinders: Pennant die
Tonic Distresser
I was thinking about my pennant die and how to use it in another way...and with Christmas just a few months away, I decided the pennant turned upside down would make a great tree! I ran across this idea when browsing the web, so I am not sure where to put credit for it. I used a die for mine, whereas the original idea was just a hand cut triangle.

A CHEERY card
Materials:
Paper: ECHO PARK Summer Days "Rainbow" and "Clouds"
Twine: My Mind's Eye "Lime Twist"
CANDi: Toy Box
Stamp: JUST RITE
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Barn Door"
Punch: EK Success
Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher
I hand cut the clouds from the ECHO PARK paper.....a die would be much easier, but I don't won on yet....lol. The folded card on the front would be a great spot for a gift card if you were to change it up a bit...even put it on the inside!

Birthday Wishes
Outside the box? A little bit. Usually when I am working with my Tim Holtz stamps, it ends with a grungy, vintage looking card or project. This one is pretty bright...so outside my "T!M box".
Materials:
Paper: ECHO PARK "Little Boy" Awesome Dots
Paper Cut and Bazzill Cardstock
Stamps: Stampers Anonymous
Ink: Archival Ink "Black"
Black Marker: Zig Micron
Acrylic Paint
You may have noticed the repeat paper over the last few days. I wanted to change things up a bit with a more grungy look, but bright. I think I accomplished this. A little doodling with my marker around each circle added a softened edge to them. A splash of paint and some computer generated words, a little more doodling around the words, and done. I randomly inked the stamps on the card front too. Try it, it's fun.

The back of this fabulous sheet of dot paper is actually a quad of different designs. The stripes, boats, stars and a little blue check are too cute to pass up for a card. I will use the entire sheet before the end of the week, I am sure....hehe

Make a WISH!
New paper, new embellishments....loads of fun!
Here is my CANDi collection.....isn't it sweet??
...and here are those foam pop-dots too.....no worries, they are on order again.
I used Beacon's 3-n-1 for these CANDi's because the rest of the card was already popped up, so I thought that might be a bit too much.
Materials:
Paper: ECHO PARK "Little Boy" Awesome Dots
Paper Cut and WorldWin cardstock
Tag: We R Memory Keepers Birthday line
CANDi: Toy Box
The bright colors of this paper was drawing me to it....I had to buy a couple sheets when I was wondering around the store on Friday. That's what I get for helping customers out...I find stuff that I HAVE TO HAVE TOOOOOO! Of course, my other new love is the CANDi.....yummy CANDi!!
So, this is a pretty simple little card...die cut, paper and embellies.....pretty straight forward. Ok, the green paper under the blue plaid is folded into a crinkly pattern and then the blue paper is put over the top.
