2012?

Ok, so for those of you who are saying I have the wrong year.....well, I am working on store displays and why outdate them with 2011 when they can stay up through next year if I do 2012?  All the materials I am using are ones we will continue to carry (except possibly the ribbon), so I am safe. Plus, I am practicing for next year...I will have a graduate in my house in 2012.

Materials:
     Paper: Custom School Paper
     Paper Cut cardstock
2012 is die cut with the PAZZLES
Stamp: JUDITH
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Black Soot"
COPIC Markers (to add a little dimension to the diploma)
Ribbon: May Arts

Simple card with a die cut year for the front.  PICTURE THIS can die cut any date, year or name for you.  Pick the color and font and you are ready to make your custom card or layout.

H I

Keep it simple people.....at least today :)

Materials:
     Paper: Pink Paislee "Hometown Summer"
     WorldWin cardstock "DoubleMates"
Honeydew Twine: from "The Twinery"
Button: My Mind's Eye

Since we got the twine in from "The TWINERY" finally, we have been having some fun creating with it!  I have bought half the colors so far and must get the rest the next time I work...( or stop by to shop....lol)

I spelled out "H I" with the letters on the patterned paper sheet from PINK PAISLEE.  The little images on either side are on the sheet as well.  Have I mentioned I love this whole line?  It is super cute!

I cut the large rounded corner with my scissors after I drew a partial circle with a pop can in the corner.  Something a little different.

FAB 5 Day 5

Our final day of FAB 5

I end my week with a card using Spellbinders and a new die from Die-Namics.

Materials:
     Paper: Paper Cut cardstock
Graphic45,  Pebbles and Three Bugs in a Rug patterned papers
Stamp: JUST RITE
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Worn Lipstick" and "Tumbled Glass"
Spellbinders: Scalloped Circle, Standard Circle and Pennant sets
Die-namics "Loopy"
Bling: Kaiser Craft
Ribbon: May Arts
Pop-dots

I ran across the dress idea for this on the Split-Coast website through a Facebook link.....don't ask me to retrace that one!...If you haunt the Split Coast website for ideas, then you know what I am talking about. This might have to be redone using a more elegant paper for a formal dress...ya, know, tweak it a little more...lol.  I can see this for a shower card or maybe even a wedding card with a groom tucked in somewhere.

Glad you stopped by today...and hopefully every day to see what myself and the other ladies have been working on.  We all work really hard on creating new things to show you using the fabulous toys we get from Picture This.  We hope you enjoy each and every creation we put our hearts into.

FAB 5 Day 1

I decided to start off the Fab 5 Spellbinders week with something that is not a card....but a cupcake topper.

Materials:
Paper: WorldWin and Paper Cut cardstock
Stamp: JUST RITE
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Black Soot"
Spellbinders: Pennant, Lacey Pennant and Fancy Tags Three

The picks could be used in centerpieces too.  I chose the cupcake because I made a bunch of "fake" cupcakes for display at the store.  You'll have to stop by and see them, they are pretty cool.

Birthday Wish

Here is a birthday card from the same sheet.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALI

Materials:
Paper: WeR Memory Keepers Easter and 6x6 paper pad
     WorldWin cardstock
Bling: Kaiser Craft
Ribbon: Creative Imginations
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Black Soot"
Stamp: JUST RITE

Since not all the images on the sheet of cut out cards are for Easter, I decided to throw in a birthday card, just for fun.  The leaves and the petals already have the cuts in them so it is easy to slip the ribbonin underneath the leaves and pop up the petals on the flower.

Hop Hop Hop

Another Easter card from the sheet.  I tried a new thing with twisted paper...just for fun.

Materials:
Paper: WeR Memory Keepers Easter line, card sheet and 6x6 paper pad
     Paper Cut cardstock
Pop-dots

By purchasing the paper pad, you have all your paper options in one package....and they all match!  The twisted paper is just really thin strips rolled on a wooden skewer I had sitting on my desk.

Just Because....

Up-Close view of the detail
A little fun with leftover bits....and I am talking BITS!  The only big piece is the inside panel, the rest are narrow strips and pieces less than an inch.  A great way to use up leftover bits from classes...and I have had a lot of them using this particular paper line.

Materials:
Paper: Graphic45 "Once Upon A Springtime" and "Botanicabella"
Stamp: JUST RITE
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Peeled Paint"
Cuttlebug "Chrysanthemum" die

Stickles: Star Dust
Pearls: Kaiser Craft

Happy Retirement

A bright and cheery card for any purpose.  I chose retirement for this one, but a welcome baby or birthday theme would work here too.....or even a Father's Day card.

Materials:
     Paper: WorldWin caradstock "Denim"
     3 Bugs in a Rug
     Core'dinations
My Mind's Eye "Fine & Dandy"
Spellbinders: Standard Circle
Stickles: Star Dust and Waterfall
Stamp: JUST RITE
Ink: Memento "Tuxedo Black"

A fairly simple card following the pattern on the paper for my inspiration. I just cut out a panel and added the sun.  Simple!  Follow that with a sentiment and some shimmer for the water with Stickles and you are done.  Simple, simple, simple.

50 sucks

A fun dimensional card idea....with a twist

Materials:
Paper: 3 Bugs in a Rug
     Cardstock: WorldWin and Paper Cut
Ribbon: Creative Imaginations
Spellbinders: Standard Circle and Inverted Circle
Stamp: Judith Stubby "Cupcake"
Punch; EKSuccess
Sizzix "Rosette"
Ink Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Black Soot"

So it not REALLY a card...it's more of a desk topper to annoy the heck out of the recipient....and remind them of their age....lol...MOM, this one is for you (and I stopped at 50, aren't I nice??)...hehe

OK, so what is it made of?  Half a styrofoam ball and a Laughing Cow cheese round.  Yup, that's it.
I glued the ball into the box round and then added the paper border with ribbon and then started stuffing Dum-Dum's into the ball.  The topper is finished off with the Tim Holtz Rosette and some computer generated words and mounted on a wood skewer.  Easy as pie, and super annoying for anyone with this on their desk :)
