Simple card. I have been playing with the last of a set of chipboard circles from Scenic Route and a simple card was what I ended up with.
Materials:
My Mind's Eye paper
Paper Cut cardstock
Ribbon: May Arts
Chipboard: Scenic Route
Bling: HERO ARTS
Easy peasy, lemon squeasy. Square cut card, patterned paper and some bling.

Circle Circle
Creating again finally. I have been on a creative binge but most of the work I have completed is for card and page kits....so you can only see those when the kits have sold out (if the items I used haven't sold out too that is....). I got three card kits and one page kit done over the weekend and one card kit is sold out already.
Materials:
Paper: WorldWin cardstock
Basic Grey "Sugar Rush: Pulled Taffy"
Paper Cut cardstock
Stamp: Stampendous "Agapanthus Cluster"
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Shabby Shutters" and "Victorian Velvet"
Gems: HERO ARTS
SPELLBINDERS: Circle Nestabilities
Pop-Dots
So while I was in a creative mood and had some paper handy, I crafted these two cards, mostly identical, but with slight differences. I think I am liking the one on the left best. It has just a bit more color on it with the edges inked. I just can't resist inking things up. I stamped the flowers in green and pink and then used my NESTIES to cut out the pink pieces I wanted to highlight. Pop-dot them and place them over the spot where they would be in the image and there you have it. This might be fun with a large house stamp or some scenery stamps.....hmmm, the possibilities!!!

Another car
Here is another card from my card kit collection that I revamped. I use some exclusive stuff in the card kits but these two used items we still had available or can order in
Materials:
Paper: Graphic45
WorldWin and Paper Cut cardstock
Brads: Making Memories
Cuttlebug: Happy Birthday set
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink: "Rusty Hinge"
Another simple design using the cars from the Graphic45 collection and a little embossing with the Cuttlebug. I inked over the embossed design to give it a little more dimension.

Car card
This is one of the cards from a card kit I did about 3 months ago. I just revamped that card kit and more hit the floor yesterday, so this one is mine again.
Materials:
PapeR: Graphic45
PaperCut cardstock
Sizzix Embossing folder (from the Tim Holtz collection)
I hand cut the triangle for the embossing and cut a car from the car sheet in the Graphic45 for the middle. Pretty simple card that can be embellished more or leave as is.

1 idea, 4 ways
The first card in this grouping of 4 is the original card using an embossing folder set from CUTTLEBUG. The other three cards are using the same design with a different folder and sentiment....and color combo.

The easiest thing to do when you are in a creative slump is take an idea you have used before and tweek it!
Materials:
Paper: WorldWin cardstock
CORE'dinations White Wash collection
Stamp: JUST RITEs
Ink: Tim Hotlz Distress Ink's "Barn Door", "Borken China" and "Peeled Paint"
Punch EKSUCCESS Scallop
CUTTLEBUG: "Oriental Weave", "Winter Wonderland", "Plum Blossom" and "Winter Borders"
Pop-dots
You can see in each picture that the card is a little different: double scallop on one, embossing a layer and more. Take note of each photo for the difference.

Welcome Baby
Another of the cards I worked on this weekend. I had to get photos of them at the store. I used some older baby folders and a new Emboss Plus set to finish this card.
Materials:
Paper: WorldWin cardstock
Basic Grey
Ribbon: May Arts
CUTTLEBUG: "It's a Girl" emboss set and "Chic Circle Frame"
Stamp: Time Flies
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Peeled Paint"
Chalk
The Emboss Plus sets are really pretty on patterned paper and even on plain cardstock. With the white core of the patterned paper I could sand away the raised areas and get a nice white look in my design. It made it pop out from the paper. I stamped the "welcome" on the paper first and then embossed the "pea". I chalked in the raised area of the embossed "pea" for a subtle bit of color. Thsi was attached to the paper with a pop-dot.

It's a GIRL card
I was playing with a older set of embossing folders from Cuttlebug on Sunday and this is my card from that baby set.
Materials:
Paper: WorldWin cardstock
Reminisce Baby Line
CUTTLEBUG: It's a Girl
Spellbinders Nestability "Circle"
Bling: HERO ARTS
Punch: EKSuccess Scallop
Easy peasy working with the double sided papers from REMINISCE. I pop-dotted the circle with the umbrella on it. You could easily use the blue papers and a stamp for the sentiment or even the other baby set for the same look.

The White Rabbit
I got a card created!! Thing is...I created three cards today....and I didn't photograph them before I left the store today! So this is the one I finished after I got home and it was dark already!!
Materials:
Paper: Graphic45 Communique Collection "Postcards"
Graphic45 Hallowe'en in Wonderland Collection "Square Hare"
Graphic45 Botanicabella Collection "Garden Suite"
Graphic45 Botanicabella Collection "Ode to a Butterfly"
Stamp: Just Rites
Chalk
Cuttlebug Embossing Plus Die "Monogram Seals" and "Fanciful Labels"
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Pop-Dots
Working with the gorgeous papers we got in from Graphic45.....oh so nice. OF course, I have a bunch of papers from Graphic45 so I used several different ones.....why stick to one, they work wonderfully together!! I got out my Just Rite collection to because with the little white rabbit, it just screamed "late birthday"...lol. I used a bit of loose chalk to give color to the die cut pieces. I wanted a subtle bit of color instead of a dark wash from inking. If you have not tried the Cuttlebug Embossing Plus dies you have got to get yourself some....those are so slick to use!!

New artist
Gone again....
So, I was spending a little time with my niece this week....and was far away from home again......and we did a little playing with some scraps and a new stamp set. She created this card for her Daddy's birthday next month. She had a little trouble with the concept of holding the stamp still but I think the little raccoon looks frantic (like Dad will be on his 40th birthday!...lol) and the inside sentiment ended up with the same frazzled look. It does say "HOO's having a Birthday?"
Materials:
Reminice patterned paper
Paper Cut cardstock
Unity stamp set
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Nestabilities Octagon Scallop
Little M picked out all the materials (within reason.......) and then picked out the shape she wanted to use from my vast collection of Nesties. She did all her own stamping and cutting and pasting. Her favorite part of it all was cranking the shapes through the Cuttlebug! She was quite proud of her work and I thought I would share it with you.
Now I have time to get some of my own crafting done again....hopefully :)

Be Happy on your Birthday
Got a late start this morning.....I created this card just before heading off to work yesterday but I am just now catching up with my daily uploads.
Materials:
Paper: MOXXIE and My Mind's Eye
Paper Cut cardstock
Chipboard: Scenic Route
Simple design with the fun candles from the MOXXIE paper. I just cut a strip from the sheet and added it to the bottom of the card and put the chipboard circle over the top. The backside of the paper has a grid design with some birthday words on it and I cut one of those out to go with the stripe on the inside pieces.

Sympathy
So while I was working on the Make & Take project using the Glimmer Mists...I had all these leftover pieces that I rejected from the base project. The cool thing about Glimmer Mist is it beads up on plastic surfaces, so when I was using the Glimmer Screens I had a bunch of "misted" screens with no where to go, so I flipped them over onto a clean sheet of paper and voila!....pretty watercolor misty prints.
Materials:
WorldWin cardstock
My Mind's Eye "LUSH" paper line (green)
Bling: Kaiser
Stamp: Impression Obsession
Ribbon: Velvet Rick Rack from May Arts
Glimmer Mist
Glimmer Screen
Tim Holtz Dsitress Ink "Peeled Paint"
So once I had the transfered image on the clean paper I misted it for that little shimmer and then stamped on my sentiment. I cut the piece to fit the card size and then layered the rest together. I have a bunch of pieces I "rejected" so you might see more of the green bugs in future postings.

Back from vacation
You may have noticed a lack of posting of new crafty items this week.....I was on vacation. I had gotten a lot of projects done prior to our trip to CHA, but wasn't home long enough to get much done for my week of vacation. I did get this card done for the Thursday make & take two days ago.
Materials:
Paper: WorldWin cardstock
Nestabilities: Circle
Stamp: Stampers Anonymous and Judith
Pin: Tim Holtz
Ribbon: Twill
Glimmer Mist
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Peeled Paint"
Twine string
Sizzix embossing folder (from the Tim Holtz collection)
We wanted to work with the Glimmer Mists after we got back from CHA....you see so many things that you just have to try...and there just isn't enough time in a day for all of it. Basically I stamped the image on the paper, cut it out adn then laid the stamped piece and the twill side by side on a splat mat and misted the entire surface. Let it dry and assembled the pieces. The Glimmer Mist gives it a nice little shine

I'm not Lion...
...I finally got a card made....hehe
Whew....I found a little time to create after being gone for almost a week at the big trade show in Chicago!!
Materials:
Paper: Bazzill cardstock
CORE'dinations cardstock
Basic Grey "Origins"
Stamps: JUST RITE
COPIC markers (see photo for colors)
Corner rounder: FISKARS
Pop-dots
Tim Holtz Distress Ink "Vintage Photo"
Tons of layers with this card. There were so many pretty colors in the patterned paper I could not decided which to choose, so I guess I picked all of them. I took 1x1 squares of the patterned paper and took the corner of opposite ends creating a different shape. I saw the idea for this in the latest PAPER CRAFTS magazine issue that I picked up at their booth at CHA last week. The paper from "Origins" line from BASIC GREY is perfect for doing fun patterns. Gotta love double sided paper! I colored in the lion from my new JUST RITE set with the COPIC markers, so easy!
